Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mannael mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Use of the App
You may use the App only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree not to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or its related systems.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
Apple Standard EULA
Your use of the App is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA shall prevail with respect to your use of the App obtained through the App Store.
Scripture Content
The App presents Bible text in the King James Version (KJV) and the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). The King James Version is in the public domain. The Berean Standard Bible is used in accordance with its public-domain dedication / free-use terms. Scripture text is provided for personal study and devotional use.
Subscriptions
Mannael is free to download, and all Bible translations and books are available to memorize at no cost. The App also offers an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features (such as AI audio narration and unlimited practice). Subscription options may include:
- Monthly — billed each month.
- Annual — billed once per year (best value).
Prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Applicable taxes may apply. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Free Trials
We may offer a free trial for certain subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged the applicable fee. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription that includes that trial.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through their support channels. We are unable to process refunds directly.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including its software, design, branding, lessons, and original content — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public-domain Scripture text is not claimed as our property.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if required for operational, legal, or security reasons. Termination does not automatically cancel an active subscription, which must be cancelled separately through Apple.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
